I made it through CLT on a 35 min connection, express to mainline, and my incoming was a good 10-15 min late.

Evidently, CLT gets fog quite a bit in the mornings, and although my incoming AVP-CLT was on track to be on time, we landed quite late. I practically ran to my CLT-PHX flight, and was the last on before they released seats to non-revs. I assumed my checked bag didn't stand a chance. When my bag was the first out at PHX, I was simply shocked.

So yes it can be done. But be ready to move once you're in the terminal.
