Sorry, but I'm essentially 100% certain that, at least for now, you won't be allowed access to the Continental lounge using your Diners Club card. The Northwest lounge at EWR is the only lounge in the USA where one gets access via showing their Diners Club card; its location is specifically identified on the Diners Club website. Unless Diners contracts separately with Continental for EWR (and query why they would do this when there's already a Diners lounge presence there via Northwest), you'll have to go to the Northwest lounge instead; on a happy note I did just go to that lounge and had an enjoyable visit. IMHO I'd much rather have Diners contract for access to lounges at other USA airports than add another at EWR.

At least having access to the Northwest lounge is better than nothing.
