hello everyone,

i have a quick question about checking in a special item, an framed painting for a LH flight from Hamburg to Paris. do i have to pay for a special fee for checking this item? it is a bit larger than usual jumbo trolley, but i have star alliance gold elite status so the weight should not be a problem.

any advices for this would be great, and i would also appreciate tips for packing this.
