First of all, I believe the scanners are more of a way for the manufacturer to make more money on selling a device to the government that may or may not catch anything. Has anyone ever heard of a report that the full body scan actually prevented someone getting thru security with something dangerous? I realize some would argue that there may be a deterrent factor.

I put this in AA thread because I didn't know what other area of this forum to put it in and I've used AA more for flying and that's when I've experienced the full scans. What forum area is more appropriate to move this to. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Again, back to my original question. Are there other FFliers that feel no big deal about the scans or am I in the minority with my apparent lack of body modesty? As far as the privacy principle, I agree that the governments of the world are stripping that away in many ways. The next big intrusion will be our medical records being made available in digital form to corporations and governments that do not have my best interest in mind. Sorry, to get off topic, but it is related to security and government take over of all aspects of our lives.
