How is this AA-related?

You decide to go to the doctor. You do not decide to have the government search you without cause. I've said on FT many times - I lost friends during 9/11 and as an NYC resident at the time if had a big impact on my life, but I do not think it is worth putting up with these security measures to maybe/sorta combat a threat that in a decade killed fewer people than cars do every 4 weeks. It is just such a waste of our freedom and money.
