I agree - I have a friend who would like to do the same (take the bonus 10,000 miles/20,000 points now rather than the 2,000 per month for the next year) and would like to throw me the 6,000 point "member get a member" bonus, but we have a problem, to wit: Where does one find that offer these days? The "6,000 bonus points" forms I've been able to find all are the monthly bonus forms.

Indeed, I haven't seen the 10,000 miles offer in about a year. Is it even out there anymore?
