Thank you SO much for passing along this information! I'm doing a bunch of quick-turn MRs in January on AA's DFW-MAD-DFW service , and I haven't been looking forward to it since all this security-related insanity. Sounds like a bit more inconvenience, but not horrible.

I'm going to do my utmost to get my return boarding pass before I leave DFW, so that I don't have to go landside to T4 at all, but instead can stay in T4S and go directly back through security and to the Velásquez lounge upon arrival.

I would be very interested in hearing if anybody has similar or different experiences flying AA out of MAD in upcoming days/weeks.
