I have an upcoming trip to SAV booked through UA, and noticed I was unable to select seats for the segments to/from SAV.
After looking at the itinerary, I saw I was booked on "United Express/atlantic Southeast Airlines". I googled and saw this is a Delta Connection carrier.
What is going on here? Are they taking over some future routes for Mesa? Any idea how/when I can select seats on these planes?
I had the same situation today and called the 1K reservation desk. The CSR couldn't even select seats. She checked with her supervisor and was told that the "new" ASA seat configuration had not been "loaded", so "no one has assigned seats, yet".
She said to check .bomb after the first of the year and I should be able to select seats, else I could call again next week. My flight isn't until mid-Feb, so no big deal.
