What's your point? They exist. They are going to exist in more places. How is avoiding AMS going to make any difference?

For what it's worth, they don't bother me in the slightest. I honestly can say that going through 30+ of them has not diminished my outlook on life in the slightest. In my opinion there are things to get worked up about, and this most certainly isn't one of them. Clearly you (and the various fanatics on this board) think differently. So be it. I'll fight the battles that personally bother me.
