Do you think they are allowed to refurb the A340's given the tight US FAA restrictions on PAL right now?

I'm not in any rush for them to refurb the A340's b/c when I fly them I manage to talk my way to Row 2 (old first class) which is a lot nicer then the new angled Recaro seats.

There's no better flight LAS-YVR than a big flat comfy 1st class PAL seat
