The new config seats im referring to are those that include the video screen in the seat pod itself. The FAs were not aware of any manual over-ride. My point of posting was to highlight that if for any reason, the IFE malfunctions/turns off, the seat may not be adjusted as well. The IFE system was panasonic as well.
