Those rules about the use of IFE in flight were relaxed on Monday 12/28. Unfortunately on your flight, you were a victim in the government knee-jerking.
But that's good info that the 757 electric seats are inop if the IFE circuit is also off.
Don't those seats have a manual override? (like the suites) Sluggo?
