I disagree - the YVR-MNL sector is mostly full in coach on the 340.

I think they plan to retire/sell the 340's as soon as the 777 becomes allowed for use to the USA... that means not until PAL becomes a Cat 1 carrier again.

I hope that happens soon, I don't fly PAL much anymore b/c of that downgrade to Cat 2
