I took advantage of the ongoing sale and got WT+ tickets LGW-SSH-LGW
(SSH.... Sharm El-Sheikh) for GBP 227 + taxes (insane 247!) for May 2010

It is a 3 class B777.Is the first row, seats 12JK or 12AB, favourable?Having really more legroom than row 13 or 14 ?Row 14 having less recline ?
(It is a long time I flew WT+ and never a 3-Class B777)

As it is an overnight flight, leaving LGW at 10:00pm, arriving SSH at 5:00am,
will there be dinner + small breakfast, or just dinner ?

Online it is offering me an upgrade to Club World for 380 GBP one way.
Is there a chance that this price will go down nearer departure date?
Are there offers for upgrades at check in at LGW for medium haul, but WT+,Club World equipped flights?
As having Gold Cards, how are the chances for an operational upgrade ?
At the moment, flights appear to be quite empty.But there are just 24 WT+ seats and 36 Club seats.An experiences on this specific route ?

How about the SSH-airport: lounge facility or not ?

I am intending to book the Four Seasons Resort or The Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Both offer free Continental breakfast and upgrade upon arrival, due to Platinum AmexCard.
Any suggestions? We just want to enjoy beach,sun and relaxe over a long weekend.I have heard that it is difficult to enter the sea at all hotel beaches.
