Hello all,

I just found this wonderful forum and am making my first post. I am just curious as to the hotel upgrades with Amex Platinum. According to the Amex website, I am supposed to receive a free upgrading (pending availability) at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London. I booked a standard room. Can anyone tell me what kind of upgrading to expect and if the process is relatively hassle-free? Thanks.
