Staying and paying that much at Mirage seems, to me, counterproductive, as you can find that level of room and service elsewhere in LV for much cheaper.

I guess the decor looks a little overdone and cheap to me. It reminds me of what someone with very little money would think 'opulence' would entail. Every surface must be dripping with gold, bronze and tchotchkes. It's a lot much for me and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere near those villas.

Other options for the same level of service/room:

* Bellagio Villas
* Wynn Fairway Villas/Apts
* Encore Apts
* Mansion at MGM

I'm sure there others. I didn't mention SkyLofts as I feel their level of service and dedication to the product has gone away. Once they started offering their rooms on Orbitz, things went downhill fast. The quality of guest is way down, as is the whole experience.
