Do you mean that if you fly a domestic flight within Canada [e.g. YYZ-YVR on a UA codeshare flight number — which I don't think you can do unless you originate on a UA flight and are connecting to an AC-operated codeshare — you get 100% mileage on a discounted ticket? Or are you talking about transborder flights bearing UA designators on AC metal?
I believe even with Mileage Plus, domestic Canadian codeshare flights on AC metal only earn 50% mileage on discount fares, just as they do on AC designators. All transborder and domestic US flights garner 100% no matter what fare is paid, and which carrier's designator they bear.
