I have been all through it in my mind and the wheels are about to come off.
I accumulated 3 amex's over the years...
I want out of my gold card-60,000 MR points.
I want out of my delta as I have starwood.
Delta I have 100,000 or so points.
I could redeem the 60K to delta but they are raising mileage levels to have to biz class tkts to europe, etc.
But I do love British Airways even though their EC changes really hurt, but I am thinking do I want to send the amex over for about 18,000 starwood (333 per 2000)
probably the worst redemption ever, but with the current starwood promo, I could do the 18K, add 2K from starwood and that 20,000 would become 50K on BA. Then I have 70K on Diners and if that promo comes around again voila! an extra 120K on BA...

essentially the 60000 points on delta is 50,000 on BA and please dont suggest USAir as I have way too many points there and who knows if they will be around in a few years!

so do I pad BA or DL....
I could take the gfriend on some delta trip in biz or send my parents away...

I know I just cant redeem those points for a home depot card.
