With a multi-ride you just show up and get on. The conductor will add a punch to the ticket each time you travel. Once the ticket has ten punches, time to buy another ticket. No other reservations or booking required for travel.

Anyone know what happens on sold-out, overflowing trains with a multi-ride? I've never heard of a conductor denying boarding but theoretically it could happen. Regardless, the multi-rides are a good deal unless you want to collect the minimum 100 points per segment for Guest Rewards.
