This February I will be flying from China to SFO and back. I will need to leave the US on February 16th but don't need to be in China again until the 20th. I was wondering if it is possible to book a semi direct flight to SFO but take a round about route back without drastically raising the price. This way I will be able to reach elite status earlier in the year.

If this is possible what resources would you recommend I use to search for and book flights. All my normal search engines won't show flights with more than 2 layovers. I looked at the Dream maps but they are only for US and Europe.

PS: I can fly into either Seoul, Beijing or Shanghai if that changes things
