The rimowa with pockets is the bolero and they still make it. I have a salsa, which has made some unknown number of USA trips and 4 international round trips with a total of 22 legs. It has made it every time and looks virtually brand new on the outside. The inside is a bit of an issue, the tiedown straps are what provide the structure and some bumps have started to cut the straps where they attach to the interior.
I'll be checking with rimowa eventually about a resolution, but it continues to work just fine for now.
BTW, this is a 29" salsa. For vacation travel packed FULL including my clothing, sundries and scuba gear it comes in between 46 and 48lbs. This means it is PERFECT for international travel. Any larger and you run into the "maybe they won't ding me" status of being a few pounds over...
Now I need a new cabin based piece of luggage. I had been considering the aforementioned bolero but it is 770 bucks on discount... I want something I can put two days worth of clothing in and my laptop(s) and the bolero looks right but MAN thats expensive for a regular bit of luggage.
