I know the OP called about changing the ticket, but I didn't see anywhere that he called the airline and asked what the bride needs to do to be able to fly. I'd try that first. If you don't ask them to do anything and put all the burden on the flyers, they will be more helpful.

This cannot be the first time a reservation has been made for a married name when in fact the newly married woman is flying soon after the wedding. If you ask how it should work, the airlines should have an answer.
