Very simple.
If you fall short a lot:
- Call them and ask for extension. They will give 2 months extension. (Maximum 3 months extension) But then at the end of membership year, you will be down-graded to Silver first, and if you can acquire the remaining points within this extension period, you have to call them to manually upgrade you back to Gold. So, in this extension period, be prepared to receive only Silver benefits.
If you fall short just a little:
- They will renew you as Gold (especially for this year - CX unoficially reduce renewal level by 15% due to bad economy). But this needs manual amendment to override system at the end of membership year. The operator will put a special "note" in your profile to let everybody know the situation.
