The Mandarin offer is the only one, I believe, where you get a CONFIRMED upgrade at the time of making the reservation, obviously subject to availability.

If you read the Mandarin section in the travel pack it states that the upgrade is available at time of reservation. I was told that the paid for night will be charged at RR, still makes for a great deal though.
You could ask at the desk at check-in if they will honour the offer subject to availability but I think it has to be pre-booked through Centurion Travel Services. Perhaps Vijian can confirm whether the booking was made direct with the hotel or through CTS?
