
September 17th 2009, flight VY5176 BCN to AMS.
We were early at the A19 gate (BCN new terminal) and waited there together with the other passengers.
Vueling and the airport failed to anounce chang of gate, took off leaving 12 passengers starnded!
Didn't bother to Public Call missing passengers (as common elsewhere),
Didn't unload luggage,
A MAJOR SECURITY BREACH
Didn't assume responsibility,
Didn't compensate passengers (only "did us a favor" and flew us to AMS next morning - cynically - they said "
at no extra charge"),
Vueling personnell was VERY unfriendly and unsympathetic,
Vueling personnell didn't even know how to guide us to AirPort hotel, they didn't know it existed,
Vueling sa didn't bother to reply to 3 registered letters mailed to them,
Replyed rudely to an itercontinental phone call after a very long hold, then referred us to an (almost hidden) email link. We then emailed our complaint only to receive a "We are not responsible, complain to the airport authority..."
Beware of Vueling
