Given the amount of travel done by people here at FT I think it's safe to make the assumption that this group is one of the most influential in the country. Outside of emailing / calling our local representatives (something which I have already done) there must be more ways to use the connections and visibility of the members of this site to bring attention to the stupidity associated with these changes.

And for those who think it is just FFs who are upset -- twitter and the social web is filled with comments today on the stupidity of some of the recent decisions. Many of the comments stated here have been made by infrequent travelers today and reposted hundreds of thousands of times. The question is how to get the right people to see this massive response.
