3737 XXXXXX 6X001 would be the first issue of the card.
3737 XXXXXX 6X002 would usually be the second card...and so on.
I'm on my ninth card (worn out strips, signatures, etc) and mine now ends in 4X009 and my partner's is 4X011. I've often wondered what they're going to do when I need a new one. Set me back to 01 again?</font>
I am not talking about the number of replacement cards you have recieved but the party who is responsible for the account. Yes you are correc that when you get a replacment the last digit may increase by 1 but this is not always true. The second to last digit on your card says if your card is the primary or responsible account. If it is zero you are the responsible card holder. If it is greater than zero you may have a card but someone else opened the account and issued you card on their account.
