In addition to having a small kitchen, the suite has the advantage of a separate living room. If you're by yourself, the extra room doesn't make much difference. But if there's even two of you, it's much more comfortable than an ordinary hotel room for hanging out, watching TV, relaxing, etc. And if there are 3+ people in your party, the extra space is indispensable.
