I'd go Homewood, b/c you always get the free breakfast there and on weeknights the evening reception (which IMO is often meal-worthy). In addition, the benefit of the small kitchen is a big one, to me. I don't know anything about that particular HGI in all fairness, but did stay at the Homewood in question and was pleased.
