Anyone with an opinion on the following choices for next week, 12/30-1/1:
Homewood Suites Palm Desert ($90) vs. HGI Rancho Mirage ($76). From what I can tell, as HHonors Gold, we'd get free breakfast at the HGI, but nothing extra at Homewood. I kinda like the idea of having a small kitchen for the 3 nights, just to relax and not have to eat out all the time.
Anyway, any other opinions/ideas?
