Thank you for the delightful description of that flight! It has been a long time since I have read so entertaining a summary as yours.
I must mention to you: in the old days, like 40 years ago when I took my first flight, first class passengers always boarded last (as you did). Then the doors closed, and off we flew. Today, on the other hand, most first class and business class passengers insist on prancing into the aircraft first and then sitting for a good long time before take off.
