According to a couple of DL pilots, the FAA has already signed off on the single certificate (Dec 16 give or take a day was the date). Delta is waiting until Dec 31 for the move.
On a other note, this weekend NWA will operate its last 747-200 service ever as the final freighter flights arrive in Chicago (ORD) and Los Angeles (LAX). The 742F's will then ferry to Marana. All 747-200's will not be carried over to the DL certificate.
