I am flying WT (aaagh) on a TATL with my nearest and dearest. I obviously still get the recently abolished allowance of 2 pieces of baggage, as my Gold Card benefit, but MMB implies (but no more) that my fellow pax get the same privilege.

As they can slipstream on pre-seat selection with exit row seats (not without aggravation, but that is another story), it is not completely illogical that they should also get the extra baggae allownace, but I feel it makes less sense for them to do so. Can anyone confirm the position ?
