I started out with the red hard shell American Tourister luggage as well. Bought it with my own money from my first real job. Sold it a few years later when I worked for a company where Zero Halliburton aluminum luggage was a perk for high performance. Had 9 pieces of Zero when I parted from that job including a rare foot locker.

Sold the foot locker a couple years ago (after having had it for over 30 years) to a friend who wanted to fit in into the back of his Lexus RX 350 as a photograhy gear 'safe'. Worked for him!

I sold 2 more of the Zero luggage pieces on EBay for over $100 each. Wow! Do they hold their value!

I still have the remaining pieces of Zero including 2 brief cases (one gold, one silver) Which I use now and then for important meetings that don't require travel, 2 Zero train cases and the big luggage.

The Zero train cases are not practical, but have come back in style.

Enjoy the holiday!
