This really is something that should be explained to passengers when serving, otherwise it looks like cheap rubbish service to those who arent aware...
Crew requested a small insert to be printed and placed inside the menu, advising that the presentation would be different due to a supply problem, however, it was decided that it would be better for the crew to explain when and where it was needed and appropriate.
