There is a supplier issue with Club World china, either they have not built up enough stock, or things have gone missing... whichever...

They have had to substitute the china serving dishes on CW meal trays to leaving the meal in the original foil tray that it is cooked in, which is then placed into the white plastic CE charger so you don't burn your pinkies.

Hence, on CE flights, the chargers have been taken off the breakfast flights, to assist in the delivery of the CW hot meals.

All should be back to normal soon.

So, to reiterate, this is NOT BA cutting cost by removing the china from CW, but a temporary solution to a temporary issue that is being resolved.
