Hopefully this will be the device that gets Apple to open up a little, especially when it comes to i) selling iPhone unlocked/sans contract and ii) cell networks it will work with. Of course, Apple does hold quite a lead in the area of applications so maybe neither will happen too soon.
Based on the
evidence this week Apple is testing iPhone Version 4. Also there is a report of a "
special event" to be held January 26 and also speculation that a major new version of the iphone will be released at the
WWDC evidently to be held at the end of June. Perhaps in January we will see a Tablet - either 7" or 10" screen - heralding a revolution in the world of print media.
