Hmmm - interesting. I'm getting the same result as the previous poster mentioned - the star alliance award tab is completely greyed out. The only one in solid blue is for ana awards.
Maybe it is because I am using the international site? I could try via the US one...
nope - same thing - just went in through the US site and still greyed out!
