Oldpenny, haha on the "car luggage." We travel back and forth between Phoenix and northern New Mexico a lot, mostly in our Honda Ridgeline. I inevitably pack far too much "stuff" on those trips - it sort of spreads throughout the truck. I need to start packing for those trips like we're flying - much more sensible.
I could write a little book about luggage, like my first luggage set received for high school graduation: red American Tourister hardshell. Seems like ancient history. Or the denim Boyt that traveled around the world with me three times when I lived in Australia and South Africa. The Hartmann nylon and vinyl carry-ons that went to every island in Micronesia, and many many other places. My idea of a fun time is visiting luggage storesand I can pass hours looking at ebags.com and similar. But I'm not nearly the expert that many who frequent this board are.
Thanks for the compliment.
