The international terminal at LAX was in pretty poor (embarrassingly so?) shape for a while too! Now it looks nice, if a bit industrial, after the recent renovations were completed. I think the immigration/customs facilities are actually reasonably efficiently laid out these days too.

Here's to hoping for more renovation airport-wide!
