US is offering free changes to pax out of PHL and other cities. just a few minutes ago i changed my flight to CLT tomorrow to the redeye tonight, so i would beat the storm. just in case.

i do notice that FC sells out with preferred upgrades a day or two out very often. most airlines leave a couple seats on most flights for last minute purchases, irrops and what not. US seems to regularly sell out there FC cabin with upgrades.
