Unfortunately, none of the Amex cards are good for small business, because they do not allow you to set per-employee charging limits; Every employee with a company Amex card has access to the full credit limit of the card. I would love to have my employees use Amex cards for their business expenses, but it would just not be responsible to give a lower-level employee access to the same charging limits as a senior company officer. As a result, we issue company Visa cards, where we can set individual monthly credit limits that are related to the employee's individual charging needs.
