Indecently, last time I had the CE breakfast I noticed that the foil container was just plonked on the tray with no plastic dish - take it they need them for long haul.
They seem to have been on CE on and off, although I can't comment on the last 2-3 weeks as I have gone off breakfast-time CE flights due to poor product differentiation.
While on the catering theme, today, after avoiding AF for a long time, I flew AF, in economy class of all things. Short-haul, mind you - I am not brave enough to try it long haul.
Anyway, I hate to admit it, but catering and services were much better than BA flights of equivalent duration.
I never thought I'd ever say this.
