I wondered what happened to the CE breakfast containers
Stuck in Hong Kong in what has to be a weird but interesting route from Sydney back to London. Qantas has the air-con really turned up in the lounge which may be to help be get used to the temperatures that can be expected in London....
Anyway, it's been a while since flying CW and I have to say the staff are a credit to BA, totally professional even with a number of pax complaining about the strike (now cancelled). But why on earth does the main course now arrive in a horrible CE breakfast plastic tray with the metal foil (economy style) food inside. It just looks really cheap and nasty and cannot possibly save that much money can it, considering the starter and desert are still served on real "china". Indecently, last time I had the CE breakfast I noticed that the foil container was just plonked on the tray with no plastic dish - take it they need them for long haul.
Please BA stop cutting corners in areas like this, it just makes a very good business class product look really cheap.
