If you're on time and traveling light, just walk fast. It's more consistent than waiting on AirTrain, where you might get lucky and immediately catch one or you might get screwed and wait a while.
also, check it out ahead of time but maybe it is faster to walk straight through the parking garage than around the front of the terminals. it really isn't that far in any case.
