There was actually a
thread a few months ago started by an Indian citizen resident in India who was born in the U.S. and travelling to the U.S. Since (s)he is Indian, (s)he cannot, by Indian law, hold another citizenship yet the U.S. considers him (her) a U.S. citizen and (s)he would be required to enter the U.S. with a U.S. passport which he cannot legally have as an Indian citizen.
Poster was just a one-timer so we never found out how he/she resolved the situation if at all.
