I'm looking for restaurant suggestions for a casual dinner near Place de la Madeleine. I've got 24 hours in Paris at the end of a long Italy trip and would like to find something fairly close to my hotel on Rue Tronchet. Preference is for traditional French food (and nothing too romantic, I'm a solo woman) and I'd like to keep it under 30€ or so (without wine) if that's even possible.

Merci!

I've never been there myself, but you might want to try Le Clos Bourguignon. Harry's New York Bar is also worth a venture, even though its not exactly french.

If you want to go a bit further walk, try either Willy's Wine Bar or Le Grand Colbert, both near the Palais Royale. The latter is where they filmed part of "Something's gotta give".
