Hi,

I flew United Airlines from San Diego to Hong kong and transferred to JET airways (9W) to Mumbai and then Chennai (india). In Mumbai, I found out that both my checked baggages are missing. I flied a complained with JET AIRWAYS and it's been more than a week now and no signs of my lost baggage. I call the mumbai office on a daily basis and there has been no updates from them. Off-late they don't pick up the phone and their service stinks. I don't have a tracking number to track my baggage online. They also said that they would compensate me if my baggages cannot be found in 7 days but no word from them as of today. What should I do? I'm on vacation in india for 15 days and JET is doing everything possible to mess things up for me.
1. What should I do to get them to act on my case?
2. Should I take them to a consumer court? Will that help in India?
3. Can I file a case against them and United in US?

Any suggestion is greatly apperciated. This is my first post and hope to learn a lot in this forum.
