Can I just throw in a vote for the Panasonic Lumix ZR1? I have some pics from my holiday in the links below if you want to look at recent photos taken with the camera. Even with the 8x zoom, which really was very handy it was able to fit comfortably in my pockets (even my to tight jeans pocket).
