I was using the Chase United Mileage Plus Visa.

Yes, I called Chase was told they weren't even seeing the charge (ie: it was being declined much earlier, at the preliminary payment gateway itself).

Ok people, when you say the site does not accept a certain country's/type of card, have you called your card issuer and told them that you are going to charge tickets to that airline, then tried again? If not, do so.
